In December 2025, the City announced an architectural and urban design competition for the redevelopment of the site. Participants were tasked with preparing a concept for the refurbishment of the existing building, which is listed in the Municipal Register of Monuments, designing new development, and creating a comprehensive masterplan for the entire property.
In July 2026, JSK Architekci was awarded first prize and invited to negotiate the preparation of the project documentation. Completion of the design work is scheduled for August 2027. The City has earmarked more than PLN 132 million for the project.
Our architect, Tomasz Urbański, was also among the distinguished members of the Competition Jury. Tomasz is responsible for numerous urban and architectural concepts developed at Greenfields. He is a co-author of residential projects developed under the ULIM (Housing Investment Location Resolution) and ZPI (Integrated Investment Plan) procedures, including projects in Warsaw’s Targówek, Praga-Południe and Mokotów districts.
For Tomasz, design is not only a profession, but also a passion. He approaches the creation of high-quality, functional spaces with great commitment and responsibility, focusing on solutions that genuinely improve residents’ quality of life.
Participating in the work of the Competition Jury was a unique opportunity for him to build on years of professional experience, join a group of highly regarded experts and view projects from a new perspective, while sharing his knowledge and practical expertise. It is a great distinction and a source of pride not only for Tomasz himself, but also for our entire team.
Congratulations to the Competition Winners!
