Amsterdam Airport Case Study showed how airports, business and investments created a complementary ecosystem and how the AEROTROPOLIS CONCEPT was successfully implemented.
Dr Filip Czernicki CEO of Centralny Port Komunikacyjny outlined Poland's ambitions to establish a new connectivity standard during the presentation “CPK Today.” The plans and project timeline for creating the largest integrated air, rail, and road network in Central Eastern Europe were presented.
The vision for CPK is built on practical insights and experiences drawn from similar concepts already implemented in Europe and globally. Alongside success stories, attention is also given to less successful projects, which serve as valuable lessons in avoiding potential mistakes.
Key Takeaways:
- Following its repurposing, the Warsaw airport site holds significant potential for innovative logistics, industrial, and technology parks.
- Communication infrastructure already plays a key role in Łódź’s development, and planned investments will be a significant game-changer for the entire metropolitan area.
- The project promises faster transportation, a new standard of travel quality, and significant time savings for users.
